Take me over like a light breeze rushes over the snow.
In a field of white lilies,a blackbird.
The trees behind me are the skeletons
that rattle and laugh in the breeze.
Like a snare, a stumbling block
my spirit is buried in the snow.
Emotions rise and faith falls clasped - my last view.
(The blood) dripping bright is a bitter red
from under the door the chill of being alone.
To press on, crippled
to the warmth of knowing you're home.
Inside purple, silk, and scarlet
from the icy white.
Like a broken backbone,
after all you've done you're now alone
and there's nowhere, nowhere you can call home.
