Nicholas Hofbauer - Footprints
The basic idea for my videos was to pick a topic, or focus and do several films which would cultivate in a time lapse. I wanted to go for a tilt-shift design with mine to make it look more like a false nature. Often people push into nature and leave their own lasting footprints, some good and some bad. My videos focused on the messes and human interference of wild growth. The focus of the tilt-shift design did focus on the human impressions left behind. Some of these are more focused than others, leaving a wide range of ideas to connect the idea together. Each video was time lapsed from 10 minutes to roughly one to help give a more interesting visual aspect than just the boring real time video which often loses viewers. Time lapses often have an interesting effect visually, especially when the clouds play just right.
