Project 1: Manifesto

Objective:

Based on the readings assigned this week and on topics briefly discussed in class, formulate your own manifesto based on your beliefs and goals as an artist.

Assignment:

1. Create a manifesto of 10 important beliefs, ideas, and goals that you have for the future of your work.
2. Consider such things as antecedents, contemporary era, tools, economics, freedoms, identity, inspirations, technology, and the future.
3. Be prepared to present your manifesto in class.
